Patty and Sharon are my neighbors and I was delighted to be able to meet and appreciate Griffin and what they were doing for him. He seemed very happy and settled into his new, however brief life with Patty, Sharon, Dexter and their clowder of cats. I know that they made his last few months happy ones. He was a really beautiful sweet dog.

So srry for your loss, but thank you for letting him live out his last couple of months in a loving home instead of a shelter.

Patty, Sharon & Dexter,
This is one of the most beautiful stories I have ever heard/ How totally wonderful, caring and inspirational.
You all truly gave Griffin the most wonderful time in his whole life.

Patty and Sharon (and Dexter!) – thank you so much for taking in a senior pet and giving Griff so much love, a family, and a home. I'm so sorry for your loss. It's clear that your love was never determined by time, rather by pure heart and dedication to an old man in need, which is awesome in and of itself. You are wonderful and much appreciated.

Thanks also to everyone at the Richmond SPCA for ensuring that Griff had a safe and comfortable-as-could-be "temporary home" at the Robins-Starr Humane Center and then a wonderful family with whom to spend his final days in a place to finally call his own.
