Adoption Center News: January 7-13, 2013

This week we had 67 amazing adoptions in our adoption center! We're happy to report that 38 dogs and 29 cats found great homes. Our goal for the upcoming week is 67 adoptions. Match Finder Tool

Our free Match Finder tool is designed to help you find your ideal new best friend. If you don't see the pet you're looking for among the cats and dogs currently available for adoption at our Robins-Starr Humane Center, use our Match Finder tool to receive an email when a pet matching your desired criteria is available.

Featured feline: Bonita

Bonita

Aptly named, Bonita is smart, beautiful and knows it! She is a sweet and playful girl. She's usually too busy being curious or chasing after a toy to be held, but once the play is done and she's ready for a cat nap, she'll happily find you and your lap for a snuggle. Being a queen, she prefers to be the only cat and will do best in an adult-only household that will embrace her independent side. She has a heart of gold and will make a wonderful companion for someone who appreciates a little "cattitude" in addition to cuddles! Her sweet and spunky personality will keep you entertained. Candid canine: Angus

Angus

Angus is a big baby! This 3-year-old pit bull mix loves to be held and snuggled – he thinks we should revise the description of "lap dog"! He loves attention. He is as social as he is sweet and enjoys going for walks. He is good on the leash and would love to stroll through the park or neighborhood with his new guardians. Angus is gentle and loves giving kisses to prove it! If you're looking for a cuddly companion, look no further! Please contact our adoption department to learn more about him.
