Adoption Center News: January 21-27, 2013

This week we had 59 amazing adoptions in our adoption center! We're happy to report that 36 dogs and 23 cats found great homes. Our goal for the upcoming week is 59 adoptions. You can help spread the word about our available pets by "liking" and sharing our social media posts on the following sites:

Featured feline: Ike

Ike is ready to play with you!

Ike is a fun-loving little guy who gets along well with the humans that visit him and the cats he lives with here at our humane center. We're baffled that he hasn't found a home yet! Ike came to us a kitten almost a year ago. He has quite an endearing personality. He loves to play and you'll often catch him pranking his feline friends. He also loves chasing toys that people toss for him. When he's not busy pouncing after something, he enjoys attention and will offer up a quiet purr to prove it. Ike is sure to make a great companion and will keep the family that loves him entertained. Have room in your heart and home for a kitty? Come visit Ike. He'd love to see if you might be his match!

Candid canine: Ranger

Ranger giving kisses

Ranger is a sweet boy who loves to get attention. He's very shy at first, but if you'll go slowly with him, he'll be in your lap in no time. A little time and trust-building go a long way with this pup. He especially loves belly rubs and giving kisses (as you can see!). He's waiting patiently for a family to come along and pick him. How could anyone resist those eyes of his? He's as charming in person as he is cute in this picture, but you don't have to take our word for it. Come meet him and you'll see!
