My problems were solved a year ago. My middle sister – the practical one – called one day to tell me about a volunteer project in which she was involved. She mentioned how much the organization needed funding to help accomplish their goals and then said, “We sisters should stop sending each other ‘just things’ and start giving to each other’s favorite charity.” Brilliant! Our gift problems were solved, and three happy sisters had no extra “things”! We now alert each other as the holiday season starts and state our favorite charity for an honorary gift. My sisters’ support of the Richmond SPCA in my honor is the most meaningful gift I could receive this holiday.
I encourage you to consider “stress-free giving.” Just make a holiday gift to the Richmond SPCA in honor of your pet-loving friends and family members. You won’t have to fight mall crowds, you won’t have to worry about choosing the right color or size, and most importantly, while you’re making a friend or family member happy, you’re also making a life-saving difference for the care of homeless cats and dogs at the Richmond SPCA. Now that’s a really Happy Holiday thought!
Have a stress-free holiday season – give a gift of love to the Richmond SPCA.
