I have really enjoyed reading your blog contributions, Ms. Starr. This one in particular was well-said and communicated a very good point. I think avid believers in any cause - including animal welfare - can get too riled up sometimes by controversial viewpoints concerning their topic of interest - and they lash out in passionate rage when they could be instead focusing that fervent energy towards the cause. You and the Richmond SPCA are highly respected characters in "my book." Thank you for sharing your thoughts and I look forward to reading more in the future.
