We had an amazing week in our adoption center with 65 adoptions! We are happy to report that 34 dogs and 31 cats found their Valentines and were adopted during the Richmond SPCA's My Furry Valentine week. Our goal for next week is 54 adoptions. Tracy was adopted by a Collegiate School family after students volunteered here as a part of their freshman service week. Carmichael was adopted from CMoR Chesterfield.
Dove found a loving home with one of our volunteers. Kristin wrote: "From the moment I brought Luna (Dove) home she fit right in. She immediately explored my apartment then curled up on my bed to sleep. She loves looking out the back door at the birds. Her favorite place to sleep is an empty box."
