Beginning Wednesday, Sept. 19 at 6 a.m. and ending Thursday, Sept. 20 at 6 p.m., the Richmond SPCA will compete with other local organizations for a chance to win thousands of dollars worth of prizes. You read that right, it’s only 36 hours of fundraising, but it makes a big difference in the lives of so many pets. Visit www.richmondspca.org during this 36-hour window, and donate $50 on our homepage through the secure Amazing Raise donation form. The non-profit that receives the highest number of individual $50 gifts will win a grand prize of $20,000.
It is also very important to get the word out about the Richmond SPCA competing in The Amazing Raise, so be sure to follow us on Facebook and Twitter to stay up to date and to share these updates with your social media friends. You can also email your friends, family and coworkers and ask them to support us by making a $50 donation. We’d also love their help telling everyone they know who loves animals, too! With your help during this fundraiser, we are sure to raise thousands of dollars to benefit pets through our Clinic for Compassionate Care.
All donations and prizes the Richmond SPCA receives through The Amazing Raise will be designated to benefit our Clinic for Compassionate Care. Since March of this year, the clinic has provided the Richmond community with access to full-service, high-quality veterinary care to ensure that pets of low-income residents can recieve treatment their guardians may otherwise be unable to afford. More than 3,600 pets have been cared for by our small veterinary team, and with community support, we look forward to ensuring that beloved pets' access to veterinary care is not limited by their family's income level.
