We wish a happy start to all the new adopters who gave a home to a pet from the Richmond SPCA last week! The 80 pets – 25 dogs and 55 cats – that were placed are surely bringing joy, companionship and laughter to their new families. Help us save even more lives in the week ahead and reach our goal of 94 adoptions!
If your own home is full with four-legged friends, you can help by sharing your adoption story and encouraging others to visit to our Robins-Starr Humane Center to adopt. The pets available for adoption are constantly changing, and you will find many new, eager faces of dogs and cats to greet you, along with the friendly, knowledgable adoption team who will help you Meet Your Match. Share via social networks the great value of adoption: all pets available at the Richmond SPCA have already been spayed/neutered, given age-appropriate vaccinations and microchipped for permanent identification. Our adoption fee is $95.
Off-site adoptions:
This Saturday, August 18, our Tail Wag'N will be at the Richmond BMW at 12100 Midlothian Turnpike, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Stop by and meet a new feline or canine friend! For every vehicle purchased this month from Richmond BMW, Crown Mini or Crown Acura, the dealerships will make a donation to support pets in our care.

Two's Company: Throughout August, you can adopt any two cats or kittens for a single adoption fee of $95. We hope you take advantage of this special because two is always better than one!

In July I adopted a very beautiful 6 yr. old black cat through the Seniors for Seniors, and I could not be more pleased! She has the quiet home she wanted, and I have the sweet affectionate cat I wanted! We are both very happy. Please stress senior adoptions--it worked for me.
