We almost acheived our goal this week! 60 pets – 29 cats and 31 dogs – found permanent, loving homes! Our goal for this coming week is to find homes for 86 dogs and cats. With summer almost here, our animals are excited to spend the season with new families!
We are thrilled with the number of adoptions this week because each adoption gives us room to save more animals who need us. For each pet placed in a home through adoption, our admissions team transfers homeless dogs and cats to our facility from government pounds and shelters throughout the Metro Richmond area. When adopting a pet from the Robins-Starr Humane Center, you not only help your new best friend, you help another animal in need!
