We are happy to report that in the last week 66 pets – 29 cats and 37 dogs – met their match and were adopted to loving homes. Our goal in the coming week is 70 adoptions. Please share, visit and encourage friends to make the Richmond SPCA their first stop when looking for their next pet.

Offsite adoptions:
Our next offsite adoption event will be at the Great Big Greenhouse this Saturday, Jan. 21. We're bringing our furry friends to the "Kid's Day in the Garden" from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Come out to this fun event to meet a new feline or canine companion!
Other events:
Bring your favorite canine companion to our Tenth Annual Dog Jog & 5K Run on Saturday, March 24. The event features a sanctioned 5K Race (for people only) at 9:30 a.m. followed by a leisurely 1-mile dog jog/walk at 11 a.m. A vendor fair takes place in the parking lots from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and includes activities for dogs, kids' crafts, music, food, giveaways from local businesses and so much more.
