The new year started with a flurry of fabulous adoptions. In the first full week of 2012, we united 80 precious dogs and cats with loving new guardians. After a most impressive month of lifesaving in December, adoptions continue to soar, and we could not be more thrilled or grateful.
Offsite Adoptions:
Our next offsite adoption event will be at the Great Big Greenhouse on Saturday, Jan. 21. We're bringing our furry friends to the "Kid's Day in the Garden" from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Come out to this fun event to meet a new feline or canine companion!Other events:
Bring your favorite canine companion to our Tenth Annual Dog Jog & 5K Run on Saturday, March 24. The event features a sanctioned 5K Race (for people only) at 9:30 a.m. followed by a leisurely 1-mile dog jog/walk at 11 a.m. A vendor fair takes place in the parking lots from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and includes activities for dogs, kids' crafts, music, food, giveaways from local businesses and so much more.
